Obviously K20A2 plugs are step colder that K20A3, so if you are looking for step colder plugs in an A3/CRV you want to run Type-S units.

If you're swapped (FROM and A3 to an A2/Z1/Z3) and are looking for step colder, these are the part numbers you need:
NGK
STOCK HEAT RANGE - BKR7EIX-11 - STOCK NUMBER 6988
1 STEP COLDER - BKR8EIX - STOCKNUMBER 2668
2 STEP COLDER - BKR9EIX - STOCKNUMBER 2669

Denso Iridium POWER
STOCK HEAT RANGE IK22

Great list there!
I personally use K series NGK spark plugs BKR7eix to be exact in a few personal cars including K20 powered CRV. The NGK iridium core plugs always last forever and take a lot of abuse/high boost without a fuss.
