if you can break it, i can use an extra set of hands here at the shop.

it's been tested in a crx with clutchmasters fx700 to give you an idea :p

Sounds good.... That's exactly what I had in my last Crx and it was one of the reasons I parted it out.. Just couldn't hold up... The pedal assembly kept bending...

Have you tried any aftermarket Clutch Master Cylinder kits on it such as the one from the Tilton release bearing kit?

i know EXACTLY what you mean. i knew from the beginning that i wanted to run a hydro clutch in my rex. none of the kits on the market really eliminated the cable. i'm running the carbonetics single on my CRX and my hydro conversion is the 1st prototype we made. Needless to say, I had to add a brace on it but it holds up great! however, this production model we released makes my prototype look like a twig.

I know... I remember the one that you posted and I had one made that looked like it as well.. Still had a few setbacks with it.. This new one though does look a lot better..
nope. i've only used the stock honda master cylinders to date. i figured if it ain't broke why fix it? that tilton unit however looks like pure sex!
Oh... I asked because I had that Tilton unit in my car and it bent the pushrod in no time. It had an adapter plate which brought it back further and messed it up.... I wasted that Tilton release bearing unit in less than 12 hours.. $400 wasted just like that...
