In case anyone hasn't already seen them:

Kit price is 7500 but comes with alot of extras. As well as a dual ball bearing water cooled turbo. I have some more pictures if anyone is intrested.

This is one of three kits im considering for my K24/K20 Setup im building. The others are a custom kit by my shop, and also the full race kit. Seems I'll be going with K-Pro for engine management.

What sized turbo? 7500 seems hrmm way overpriced for what I'm looking at, unless that like a GT42R; and even then, still overpriced. What's the kit include?

What WG, what size?
What BOV?
Where is the WG mounted? I dont' see it on the housing or on the manifold...

Not to mention, what are the running lengths on the manifold, are they equal length, what's the collector look like, etc.. etc..I assume since it's Hytech the manifold is flawless, but I'd like to know anyway.

Just trying to get some info before crazy bandwagons start.

It appears to be equal length. But honestly, are you doubting John? He's one person that I trust when it comes to exhaust and turbo manifolds.

The Kit is expensive but it's very complete.

It comes with:
Turbo - Dual BB Water Cooled T3/T04B
Intercooler - Laminova Air/Water
Turbo manifold
Down pipe
Wates gate - TiAL (not sure on size) probably 38-44
BOV - TiAL 50mm
Radiator
Water pump
Injectors
Hondat K Pro ECU

like I said, I trust BECAUSE it's hytech that it is flawless, I was just being curious. I mean even manifolds that are touted all over these boards as "equal length" aren't. I know this b/c a friend of mine purchased one of these $1000+ "equal length" manifolds for a B-series, and we measured the runners and guess what? NOT equal length.

whats the power output rating from this setup for a k20,is it made to fit a dc5/ep3 or is it for the swapped cars? any clearence issues on any chassis yet?
from what I understand, this is a fully custom kit, not a production kit. I asked John about clearance in EG/Ek's and about in K24 blocks which are taller, and he said there will be no problems, cus he will modify whatever is necessary.

Lots o bandwagoning going on in this thread

And full-race makes good shit, but they are by no means THE BEST...

In all honesty if you're that hung up on "the hottest thing of the moment" from whatever shop just buy the manifold and put the rest of the thing together yourself...or you can pay a lot more, up to you....

If you're doing a K-swap NO kit is going to fit right (Charge pipe) I don't care who makes it...so buy a manifold and get to work.

You need to now the meaning of the word the best it means "One of the Best"

So far if I to pick one of them It will be Full-race. Why?

Again I seen and I had both products.

No one has time to put kits together this days.

So Full-race and other companies put the kits for you. One less thing to worry about.

Bandwagoning? I think not. Full Race has more than proved itself in the 240 community. I've lusted at their top mount SR turbo manifold for months.

Full Race IS quality! Period. I would NEVER hesitate to use ANY of their products.

Perhaps you aren't familiar with the quality of their workmanship?

http://www.full-race.com/images/gallery/sr20det/index.html

Specs on Full-Race Pro Street manifolds
* Thickest and strongest materials used by any turbo manifold manufacturer, 8 gauge forged stainless steel.
* Equal length designs, increase spool time by approximately 800 rpm, huge midrange and peak power and torque gains.
* Equal long-radius bends result in equal frictional flow coefficients, balancing flows from runner to runner.
* Low angle merge collector designs minimize collector fluid friction.
* Air to air or air to water intercooler compatible.
* Flanged for either T3 or T4 turbos, and any wastegate you choose.
* Runners flow ~245 CFM individually.

Quality Quality Quality!!!

I never said they didn't make good product. But as a whole their manifolds are by no means the instrument from which all is measured. FOR EXAMPLE look at collector QUALITY

Full-Race

I specifically said that they make good manifolds because they do make good manifolds, but they don't make the BEST manifolds. I was just saying all these "kits" really aren't worth it. It's one thing to take your car to a shop and have them put something together for your specific application. It's another to buy a "kit" and then pay a shop to install it, you're just paying for markups twice. My post was ESPECIALLY intended for those w/ K20 swaps into eg/dc/etc.. chassis...odds of getting a kit that will fit well (charge piping) is slim. Friends of mine have had fitment issues with HIGH DOLLAR kits on setups as simple as Bseries in an EK. I'm not trying to hate on FR and I apologize if it comes off like that, they've done very well and rightfully so, but for people to tout them around as the be all end all is just silly.
