Hi. i have a fully built k24/k20. compression is 11.5.1. head is ported and all. are skunk2 stage 2 cams good for a street setup with 52mm itbs?any help will be appreciated

11.5 comp? The skunk 2 stage 2s will go good.. People are using those on stock blocks.. So i dont see why they wont work for u.. N the itbs u have.. Me personally would of went 12.5 the least but 11.5 should be good... Good luck

thanks alot.. i wanted to go 12.5.1 but the last car i had with that compression it pinged way too much

What octane fuel were you running?

Wit 12.5 comp u gotta run 93 or better no less cuz thats when u ping... U probley has less octane

i use 93 octane all the time from Sunoco.

Maybe bad fuel in the tank from before the swap?
It should not ping on 93, I have seen 13.7 comp motors run on it. It is all in the tune.

If your running a 2.4 at least run 54mm!
