Im looking to swap in the K20A into my 92 Civic and wanted to see if anyone knew of any high quality shops that do good work for fair pricing in California. Ive been talking to a shop in the L.A. area (5150 Auto) but I dont know to much about their past or success. Has anyone heard about them or had experience with them? Ive been talking to one of the guyz for a while but its all been talk. Thanks everyone.

although im an *out of the garage* guy, we have done many k-series swaps all ready. basically a person will purchase most of the stuff he needs for the k20 swap, and we will drop it in and thats it. all in one day and i dont settle for half ass work. will be dropping in 2 more k20's into an eg and an ek in a week... let me know, you can come by and check it out while we are doing it. im located in westminster area.

Thanks for those shops. I emailed them all but I had one lil question. brian g, that pit crew racing site you gave me....well....all that came up was racing apperael. Nothing about a shop doing honda swaps. Its nothing personal I just wanted to check if that was the right address. Thanks again

Whoops, it's www.pitcrewmotorsports.com and it looks like they don't have anything on the site either. Try www.dexonline.com in Covina or some other city around there.

R-crew???

I am not sure about R crew the shop looks dirty and they use sticks to hold up your hood. That doesen't seem to be quality craftsmenship to me. Eric know what he is doing and he will treat you car like his own. The wiring job will be that of a art. Its called "clean" and nothing but, or you car is not done. Look at the pics of r crew and you will see what kinda work they do. I dont think that is clean at all. So take your pic in a company that will stand behind what they do and have pride in what you will be driving around.

Have you been to the shop before or are you just talking out of your ass?

Several swaps, motors and parts have come out of Rcrew and I haven't heard of any complaints.

Just because he offers low prices doesn't mean you are getting shitty work.

But to each his own. If you don't want to go to Rcrew, don't go there. But don't talk shit about something you don't know. If you want a shop to hold your hood up with a platinum rod and wax and detail it when it's done, then you better find another shop.

Peace
