I recently bought a civic hatch to do a k20 swap Right know Im searching for a full type s swap and to buy a k24 block. This is what I have in mind

K24 block with 90mm bore, Can anyone give me a price on iron sleeves for different companies, will I have any issues with 90 mm , should I go with 89mm?
86mm stroke, custom rods and pistons, Which rods and pistons do you reccomend for high revving engine and what compession ratio for max hp using 93 octane?
Which camshafts, springs and retainers work good for 9500rpms to 10,000rpms and give good horsepower?

What are you planning on doing putting the K20 crank in the K24 block?

I guess Im going for High rpms and reliability for street driven vehicle.
I calculated a few things and well Ive decided to go that way

AS you can see a k24 with 86mm you have lower rod angle and higher rod to stroke ratio, the only thing is higher that is not good is the engine speed that is up by around 120 ft/min. So if I build an engine this way I guess I should have a good engine that could be revved high and be reliable.

That is why im planning on running a max of rpms from 9500 to 10000 if possible. That is why I also asked for which cams would be better for higher rpm range.

Suggestions and comments are welcome,

So you plan on keeping the 99mm stroke and revving to 9500?

sorry but I think I am having a little trouble reading today, it is still early... :rolleyes:

Nope, in my first post I stated k24 block 90mm bore and 86mm stroke and planning revving from 9500 to 10,000rpms
