Hello All. I'm new to this site. I own a 06 tsx with the k24a2 engine. It's an auto so as it's not my daily I have plans. I plan on buying an ek or eg by end of this year. My tsx has around 1k or so repairs needed. I paid 3k for it. I really want to k swap the k24a2 into civic.

So should I just sell the tsx as is and use that $$ for swap or since my engine is healthy and I know history of service remove engine and sell car for parts?

personally If you don't want the TSX I'd pull the motor and get rid of the rest. That way you know the condition of it and know how careful it was removed and stored before dropping it in something. The auto motors are great, I put one in my 07 SI. Just need to put a manual flywheel and clutch on there and it's good to go.

Thank you for your reply. I'm on the fence bc I can get 2500-3000 or so by selling tsx as is. A good used k24a2 is less than that. My budget will be 6-8k so another 2-3k won't hurt. But yeah knowing I have a good engine means a lot.
