Has it been done already?Uberhatch said:yes it can
Yes it has been done.midoriek4 said:Anyone know if this can be done to destoke the motor?
Yes the 04 s2k crank is 90.7 mm stroke and it drops right in K-24 or k20a family blocksmidoriek4 said:Anyone know if this can be done to destoke the motor?
the fact that the F20 spins in the opposite direction doesn't matter?K20EG said:Yes the 04 s2k crank is 90.7 mm stroke and it drops right in K-24 or k20a family blocksmidoriek4 said:Anyone know if this can be done to destoke the motor?
Since the 100mm stroke of the k-24 is far to large to use effectively the s2k crank is your best alernative Imo 93-95mm would be the best.

? So my question still stands ?jon v said:the fact that the F20 spins in the opposite direction doesn't matter?K20EG said:Yes the 04 s2k crank is 90.7 mm stroke and it drops right in K-24 or k20a family blocksmidoriek4 said:Anyone know if this can be done to destoke the motor?

So with this crank and some custom rods and pistons is the block ready for 9000RPM's +
thanks NIKOS thats what i needed to hearnikos said:Basically in order to destroke, you do 2 things...
You sleeve it and make it smaller and you change the crank.
So the cylinder holes will decrease in diameter.
S2000 bore is 87 also.nikos said:Basically in order to destroke, you do 2 things...

The only thing needs to happen to de-stroke an engine is to reduce the "throw" of the crank(and lengthen the rods). The bore can stay the same.nikos said:Basically in order to destroke, you do 2 things...

stroke has nothing to do with bore...and the S2K spins the same way as the Ks do ... clockwise... the Bs,Ds,Hs all spin counterclockwise.. if the people on here that are giving advice dont know that dont take their word for anything honda relatednikos said:Basically in order to destroke, you do 2 things...
