K-Series Motors are very popular here at TDC. Nhia brought us his RSX-S with high hopes of making more power out of his K20 N/A build. K-motors can be very responsive when coupled with top notch parts, and Nhia wanted to do it right when it came to the bolt-on's, cams and springs.

We installed all the parts listed below:
1.) RDX 410cc fuel injectors
2.) IPS K2 Iron Core cams
3.) Supertech dual valvespring, steel retainers, seats, and seals
4.) Skunk2 Racing 3" Muffler with 3" KTeller Exhaust Piping
5.) Hybrid Racing Timing Chain Tensioner

His Modifications already on the RSX:
1.) Injen cold air intake
2.) RBC intake manifold with Karcept adapter and Hondata intake manifold gasket
3.) Kiddracing Krusher header
4.) Hondata K-PRO
5.) Tuned by Hubert (that's me) @ TDCAuto.com

The head all set up and ready to go.

Hybrid Racing Timing Chain Tensioner Installed and ready to go.

Skunk 2 Muffler all set up and welded together along with the rest of the exhaust.

Nhia's car went on the dyno and after a few pulls, this is what we were able to efficiently extract of this setup with roughly 140k miles:

No offense but u have no idea what u r talking about. Same swap will NOT put out same numbers in different chassis' and all dynos do NOT read the same. Try reading the stickies at the top of all the forums and look through the dyno comparison threads.

Also, this is not b20 so let's watch the SHIT talk.

Thanks for sharing GT35. :up::up:

Thanks again Hubert for an awesome tune. Can anybody recommend me some parts that would increase my numbers? Looking for at least 240hp. Already have a SKunk2 70mm TB in mind. Change the oil, oil had 3000+ miles on it already and sat for a week before got tuned. Upgrade to Comp Clutch Stage 4, my stage 1 slips when shifting 1st into 2nd gear at WOT. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

MkIII's, higher compression, and a custom header will get you 240hp no prob.

Thanks Hubert for posting this. My IPS cams and Supertech vavletrain along with ID injectors will be installed next Thursday. Just looking at the pictures should keep me going until the install and dyno runs are completed. BTW, the Mustang dyno where I have had my car tuned previously has only showed 165hp for a base Civic Si. Like the member whose car was worked on, I too am already looking at other ways to improve power. I am probably going to go with a Go-Power ported RBC intake manifold and a Hybrid 70mm DBW TB when that is released.

Nice:up: instead of people comparing dyno numbers it would be better to wait for track times. It's obvious this dyno reads a bit low as he stated tuned rsx-s make about what a stock rsx-s would make on any other dynojet.
The curve is nice and smooth IPS ftw!

im running on a stock block right now. a k24 block would be nice but i dont want to dump a load of money into that right now. this is my daily driver and im planning to keep the k20 motor all the way. i did wanted to do e85 but there's no gas station that carries it within 50 miles from where i live, sucks.

Well obviously if I don't know IM ASKING A QUESTION AS I STATEMENT.
And regardless if its b20 or k20 or any other site....Understand the difference between shit talk and a broading question/statement in the attempt to UNDERSTAND what I clearly was confused about.

Thank You.

exatly. at least somebody knows a dyno is just a tool to see what a motor likes/dislikes

would love to see a baseline (stock motor) layed over that map.
