I know someone that does...

any advice as far as if I am going to use it? make sure it gets plenty of air (maybe a pair of fans, they should be behind the rad in the engine bay correct?), and is there anything i can use inside of it to protect against corrosion? What exactly does water wetter do?

I live in So-Cal so it gets pretty hot...

i am also thinking of installing an oil cooler on the front of the radiator...
JON V from what i could tell that radiator is aluminum as well. it only has one row as oppose to the racing KOYO which i think has 2-3 rows. i should last and cool as well as stock.
Well i got my radiator today...

for those of you who have not seen this thread befor I found a great deal on a Koyo OEM RSX replacement radiator on E-bay. After my purchase and some talk here there were some doubts on what kind of radiator I was going to be recieving and what kind of performance to expect from it.

Well here are a couple pictures for you guys...

I believe this is the port for the coolant temp sensor... :D

So all in all I am happy with it. It looks like a brand new RSX radiator with a Koyo plaque on it.

And it's aluminum... :silly:

Anyone know what the small bronze fittings are used for?
i know d series auto radiators had that for cooling trans.
They ran coolant through the trans?
The small brass fittings are probably for a trans cooler for the automatic cars. Automatic D-series civics had this. It is a heat exchanger, coolant does not run through the transmission.

so does that mean that I may be able to use it for an oil cooler? It is a seperate system correct?
Yeh, i pulled out an automatic engine the other week and the auto box was cooled by the fluid going into the bottom of the rad.

Wouldn'nt use the idea for an engine oil cooler though personally.
