My passenger binds on turns and barely when driving... At stock hieght the axles are angled arnt they? its only when u lower your car they become more straight? or do i have this backwards.
anyhow im going to try the plain base rsx. looks like it will work perfect maybe a tad too long? does .8 off a shaft account for alot?

Well, it all depends on how the placement of the motor is on the EF. I know at ride height my axles are almost level w/ the EGK1 mount kit. That is why I jacked up the suspension assembly when taking the axle measurements with them mounted in the hub. I would suggest doing the same thing on your car. Just jack the assembly up about to where your ride height would be at, and then note the position of the end of the axle (when compressed) in relation to the outside of the hub.

Yeah, the stock RSX Base Passenger side is obviously the best choice. Take those measurements if you can. It would be good to see the driver side as well with your current setup. Just take the nut off that side and check it out. There might be another combination to better suit the driver side, so I would at least check it out to see where it's at.
So karcepts, if i understand correctly from these posts, you still have rsx base axles with the inners swapped and it's working fine in your EG with hasport mounts?
If so, I'm definately going this route. Can't even find b-series axles for decent price around here. Junk yards only sell them with swaps it seems...

Correct! RSX Base axles w/ their inners swapped works way better than the Type-S w/ B-series outer combo as far as actual length of the axle is concerned. People are still hung up on the Type-S w/ B-series outers that I haven't felt the need to push or argue the issue. If you go w/ the Type-S w/ B-series outer combo, your driver's side is going to be completely compressed at ride height. This might be fine for drag racing, but I don't believe it is the case w/ roadracers or autoxers. I am told EP3 axles are the same as the RSX Base axles as well, but I have not personally confirmed this. I have yet to observe any issue with my current setup!
I am using the EKK1 kit, though not completed I am getting close. My axel combo as of now are RSX Type S inners and shafts, and B-series (94 Integra) outters. Now I compressed them and got measurements of:
Passenger Side: 22.5"
Driver Side: 24"
Going off "Chief Rocka" my measurements are drastcally shorter. And if my measurement are as accurate as I believe them to be then my combo should work. Once again I am getting ready to attempt this, I have not completed this, so do not base a buying decision off of this information yet. Once I get the motor in and can check it out, I will post with my results.
Thanks Karcepts and everyone else for a great thread.
Those measurements would be closer for an EGK1 or EKK2 mount kit than what Chief Rocka showed. The passenger side would be on the short side though.
If you can post up your findings w/ the EKK1 mount kit using the technique shown in post #36, you could be the guinea pig to figuring out the best OEM combo for people w/ your kit!

I am going to possibly check on all of this tonight, I know fitment is too good to be true, but I can always hope. I will post up pics of my findings in this thread and the other one that I have with my work in process.
There are no issues at all. Think about it; an RSX or EP3 outer is the same, if not better (due to potentially newer materials/manufacturing processes) than a B-series outer. The main thing going on here is that the length of the axles are optimized further than the K shaft and B outer method; not to mention, this route is cheaper. If you are running 400HP and breaking the K shaft and B outer method, then you will probably break these as well.
So does that mean after reading all this correctly, the base rsx axles, and midshaft with work on a eg with 32mm hubs. Cuase I'm getting my car next week, and I'm gonna start ordwering parts now.
