I would be amazed if the RSP makes more power on a k24 than the RRC. This is based on dozens of examples where 8th gen Euro R owners have swapped for the JDM item and made much higher peak power.

an update for this matter
i own a euro fn2
full bolt ons , k20a2 oil pump , etc etc
plus toda a2 cams (stock compression , gave a bit top end , not much)
but STOCK exaust (everyday car not police magnet )


crank 236 in one dyno TAT (reads at the crank what dynapacks read at the hub)
crank 251 in another dyno.. VAMAG(reads the same crank hp as dynojets here)
both number repeated there many times , since i tune in both dynos
have both plots
these where WITH rrc MANIFOLD.

then removed it , since i would install a jrsc
and put back the rsp...
THAT WAS THE ONLY mod..
retuned
car lost 2-4 hp top end , WAS BETTER everywhere else...:wow:

here are the before / after dynos in both machines (tat-vamag)
notice the dates , i thought that one dyno malfunctioned or something...(vamag) , next morning i went and got about the same results in the tat dyno




i guess rsp is a good manifold

INSANE 9300+ rpm rev limti with a2 cams was done for testing purposes.. to see if it held power rrc+a2
8750 was with rsp , but already over the peak

This makes me very happy i didnt sell my RSP!!!!!!!!!!
Remember, all motors are different, and that also needs to take into account elevations and temperatures where the motors will be running. From the testing it looks like a mildly modded 2.0L 86mm crank benefits best from the RSP. With more testing on different motors we will see how the manifold performs with larger displacement and cams, as well as a much better exhaust system :)

IDK what to think of this, a LOT of euro tuners have no clue how to tune on Hondata to make peak power.

I was researching this manifold(RSP) and some uk civic board came up, and they said the RRC was better then the RSP from around 4k up.

Also said the RSP weighs more, is quieter, and had a slower tip in throttle response(not sure on this last one).

i ll try the rsp with cams and 11.5 c.r to see what i ll get

i was 270hp VAMAG with my ep3 , with the same mods(all bolt ons +11.5cr=toda a3 cams PLUS IBported rbc)


lets see (in a couple of days) what the fn2 will do with an rsp , 11.5c.r and toda a3 cams..

some pics..
i opened up the i.ma inlet to match the maxbore dbw t/b
installed a toda 0.3mm headgasket for about 0.4 c.r , and we ll se what happens , if the cams respond better...

Yes i know,

I will be doing some testing soon, also on a K20Z4, similar build to ef9, but bigger exhaust (3") TODA headers, 3.5" intake, 09+ Acura TL TB and IPS K2s cams (when i eventually receive them!!)

Both manifolds will be mach bored to TB (72mm).....

my mods exactly
70mm intake tube cai , cpl style
tsx t.b
toda a2 cams
toda valvesprings
tdi header (came up better than the toda unit in the top end)
stock 60mm exaust
flashpro tuned by me (i ve tuned 300 cars in greece)
rsx oil pump

only mods i ll be doing
toda a3 cams
toda 0.3mm headgasket 11.5c.r
opened up the rsp inlet for true 70mm maxbore t/b
and as i sais a truw 70mm dbw maxbore t.b

i ll tune and compare to the graphs i ve posted
unfortunately stock exaust will remain

just wanted to show what i got..
as u said exactly , mild k20z...
maybe the rrc plenum and runners r a bit out of place till 7000+ rpm for the small motor..

will be doing a 2.2 stroker soon , will test that also

Thanks for sharing the dyno graphs and information fellas. Where I think this IM will shine is on the 2.4 liter motors.
Why?
Larger plenum an nice runner lengths.
I really do not care much for "peak" numbers because the car is rarely driven at WOT or at 7.5K+rpm. I'm talking real world driving. :up::up:

nothing changed much after toda cams and toda headgasket.. in the same car (fn2) this time (last comparison was between ep3 and fn2 , with some different bolt ons)

same car
only difference rsp and rrc

rsp is better till very high in the rpm range
even with higher compression/cams rrc couldnt shine till 8000+ rpm
both were tuned
solid line = rrc
dotted = rsp
