I bought my first K20A from Lucky star in toronto and they are a bunch of scammers, the motor and everything was perfect but I just didn't get all the parts they promised, I would not buy from them again.

I almost bought my k20a from them but they kept telling me one price and when I went they told me another. They had a fucking "meeting" to discuss the price of the motor. So I bought mine from TJ Japanese in missisauga.

Nick, Where did you find a K-Pro for 1000? I'd take one right away.

As for lucky star, do you have any info on TJ and what did you pay for your K20A swap? Any help appreciated.

I bought a used K20A2 ECU back in the day, it was like $100 shipped US

then i found some guy who wanted to trade, which wa slike $800 shipped US (maybe a bit less i think)

so it ended up being like under 900 USD, i just remmeber it came out to like 1100-1150 CND all said and done... this was a while ago though when there was a bit less demand, and I also shopped around for deals

FNF-MOTORS sold me a KLZE for 1050$ CND and did not include the Intake Manifold from the KLZE (used the manifold from my old engine KLDE and did not reimburse or given me the KLZE manifold). So basically got ripped-off, not recommended. No transmission either so for 1050$ its a major scam especially when it clearly states on their website that the KLZE Intake Manifold is included in the price, go figure...

Called back several times, left messages, sent emails, NADA, no reply!

I am just letting others know about this company. I am not trying to put them down just sharing my experience and trying to find someone who might have had the same problem with fnf-motors. One guy already told me that it happened to one of his friends who had to go there in person in order to get his matter settled, so I'll probably end up doing the same.

I am just trying to give a heads up for people who are planning to make a purchase in the future.

There should be a site with ratings and reviews about all these little shops around montreal so that people can safely make a purchase without having to go around posting on various forums in order to find answers.

I am also on mx6.com if you want to check all my posts (got a mazda mx6 and wanted a KLZE engine from fnf-motors), so if you think I got a shop of my own then let it be. I am just a customer who got ripped-off.

So to conclude this matter, FNF-Motors did call me back on the 10th of June to confirm that I can come pick up the manifold (he kept his word), which I did.

FNF-Motors not only sold me an engine in very good condition but they are the only ones that have a contract with a garage that specialises in engines (very good prices as well). So you get a good engine for a good price and a place that will install it for you.

As most of the people who delt with FNF-Motors (well the ones that replied to this thread or the one on montrealracing.com), I am as well very satisfied with the engine, installation and service
