I have been reading up on alot of the info here, and the one big question i have is with the power steering, i know that it cannot be kept. But what do i put in its place for the serpentine belt to be used. I have heard a EP3 idler pulley, but i am not too sure, and if it is then can i purchase this part at honda and how much. Please enlighten me with ur info, thanx to everyone who answers. I cant wait for this swap to happen.

I would not pay dealer prices...unless you have a connection. I think I priced this out through a large dealership/distributor & it came to around $75-$85

BTW you CAN keep powersteering...you just need custom hydraulic hoses & reroute them[/b] & notch the hood

If you use the EP3 idler pulley, you need to get another belt that is 50.5 inches long and 7 rib. You can get it at Kragen. I have posted part numbers in the past. too lazy to look right now

ok so i'm not that lazy. here it is:

should be 50.5 inches


I posted this before but you can get the belt at Kragen

The belt part number is 5070505.

the 7 = 7 rib
505 = 50.5 inches
