This is just general information i would like to share on the progress of this manifold. More testing will be done on other platforms, manifolds, and cams. One day, this might be available to the public... that being the Manifold and Header Combo.

Engine Size - 2188cc 90x86
CP Pistons 12.6:1
Cunningham Rods (S2K width Journals)
IPS K2's (billet steel)
Head Ported by Superior Automotive
STOCK K20 OIL PUMP with SPRING MOD
Prototype 9.0 Manifold
Prototype Header
MS 109 Fuel
Accessories - Water Pump and Altenator
Built by Joe McCarthy

The goal was to tune the supporting mods to make power at 9000 rpm... we missed our goal by a little...

Note this dyno reads 7% higher than a dynojet for anyone that cares...

I would say k20, but I'm not sure.:rolleyes:
Sleeves would bring either block back down to 86mm if they wanted to.
a 305whp K20 would trick a lot of people at your local friendly recreational street races.
Not really a noticeable difference between the two, but the K20 should shift the power curve to the left, K24 to the right.

don't you mean the other way around?

left would be power sooner and right would be power later? or am I missing something?

Shorter deck would have more pull when the intake valve opened with all things being equal. It would also raise the compression...just because the pistons were bought as 12.6:1, if that was with the 86mm Crank, they would be higher compression with the 90mm crank. Just something to think about, that was not properly described in the original post.

I agree. But that wouldn't get you 2188cc. You'd be about 100cc less.
Good catch. I was thinking they may have used a 90mm crank. :wink:
