whats the right way to set up oil catch can for n/a stock k20a2 ? does the large bung on the drivers side of the valve cover that connets to the intake suck or blow ? and what is its purpose ?

That pipe flows in both directions depending on engine load.

Firstly, While theres manifold vacuum at idle and cruise the system is drawing air through the pcv valve which creates a slight vacuum in the crankcase, the air will flow from the intake pipe into the valve cover.

Secondly when under full load and the manifold has no vacuum the crankcase will slightly pressurize from cylinder blow by. This crankcase pressure is bled out from the valve cover into the intake arm.

IMO the stock ventilation system is excellent and hard to beat for a stock engine that is daily driven.

whats the point of the coolant pipe that loops around the bung port and what are the pros and cons of capping it off ?
