My EK with my k20a2 w/ Power Steering (Jackson Racing pulley) & A/C was operating fine up until a few days ago. I went to start it up the other day & I heard a wobbling sound. I popped the hood to find out that the belt was not up there correctly. Now I go to put the belt back on & now its not fitting right. There is a lot of play with the belt almost as if something has changed:confused:

Can someone help me out with this? My belt is a 6 rib Dayco belt & it doesn't look like it has any signs of stretching or breaking.

1 - How long is your belt
2 - Does your tensioner appear to be operating correctly.
1) How long is my belt?............67.5 inch belt (Dayco practically new)

2) Does my tensioner appear to be operating correctly?..........How do I check for that?

Problem resolved!

The tensioner is fine. The belt is actually a tad bit too long & it was hitting the hood & leaving black residue everywhere, so I bought a smaller belt and the problem is fixed. So anyone with a k20a2 & Power steering w/ Jackson Racing SC pulley & Air conditioning who needs the proper belt size it's Dayco belt #5060670.
