I sent my car to a friend to paint it, he was filling in some of the holes in the empty engine bay of my EG and by accident welded the holes for the passenger mount HAsport kit shut, Now i dont know what to do. I was thinking screwing in the bottome 3 screws on the side to line it up and re do the holes, but i forgot whether those holes were threaded or not. Were they? Also im still confused on how to install the passenger mount. Does anyone have pics on how? Im dumb. Thanks guys

They're threaded.

You might try drilling them and taping them.

Im scared to do that, it might not line up with the motor when it comes to install time.


Brian G, would you reccomend welding the mount? Do you think i would have any problems lining up the mount with that side of the motor?

If you cannot see the holes that got welded, I would just hoist the motor in the car with the bracket attached to the engine, align it, mark it... make sure of all the mounts are lined up, take the motor out again, and drill the holes.

just bolt the two 14's in the bottom(the ones for the bottom mount on your stock motor0 and its lined up, weld it.
