yeah k-pro would be nice but the bank says no currently.
so I think I have the answer after a lot of googling an conversations with many people.
I forgot to add I am running a 5 speed from a K20a3. It’s a engine from the 5 door “high power” ep chassis the Uk market have. And from what I have read it has the wrong VSS to what the k20a2 had, although I have not had a definitive answer.
so that leads me to 3 solutions,
1. Get the correct 6 speed this engine had
2. Get k-pro as the can change this as a setting
3. Convert the casing to accept the other style sensor
Being that it’s a daily driver that I just want a more power and readily accessible parts, I’m gonna get the 6 speed and then k-pro down the line.
I have found loads of useful information IF I was using US spec parts, not so much for the UK market, that’s not to say it’s not out there, I just have to decipher the US to UK posts.
but until I find a gearbox and fit it, if anyone has any other ideas I’m all ears 😅
