Alright, I have an ep3, cn turbo kit ect ect.

blew the ep3 this weekend :)

I would like to be in the high 300's-400hp maybe a little more.

Dont think I can pull off a frank swap in the time I have to do this.

option one. K24a1 block with k-pro, the new bosch injectors, cn turbo kit and all supporting mods.

or the same stuff on a k24a2 block.

I searched, found a few threads that helped a little but none gave me a solid answer.

Thanks for the help in advance!

My suggestion to you is if you plan to do the frank swap in the future just do it now while the motor is out of the car. The labor is a PITA and when you have the motor out of the car is the best time to do any modifications to it.

If you do not do this now but still plan to do it in the future go with the CRV motor as its the only stock k24 (other than the TSX motor) that can accept a Type-s head and have proper piston clearance without having to get into the motor and start replacing pistons

a2 is a better motor but it cost more and it is not as boost friendly and to run sum decent boost to it ,it will require a wicked tune or low boost with a wicked tune to get some good numbers . it would be really good if you through in some arp hard ware and a thicker head gaskit but not needed.

a1 this motor is a little more boost friendly as it has lower compression, and vtec is like that of your a3 so it does not flow as well as the a2 but who cares when your craming it in,another plus is that nikos our administrator is selling them 1300$ shipped to your door and you could have it in asap and and if you blew this one up it would not hurt as bad so really it comes down to how much you want to spend but the a2 is better.

? HOW DID YOU BLOW UP THE A3 OR WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED IF YOU DONT MIND.

not sure what most of these guys are talking about...

buy the K24a2 motor now if you can afford it and you dont ever have to worry about swapping heads etc, because it already has the type-s style head... The rods are beefier than the other K24 rods and the only downside is the slightly higher compression which still isnt bad at 10.5:1 or whatever it is... with the TSX motor you could easily put down 350-400 with 10-15psi on a decent setup
