Curious if anyone would know if I'll run into any piston/valve clearance issues with Wiseco 11.1:1 pistons? Not sure what cams I'm going to run yet but just wanted to see if anyone has ran these pistons or anything similar within the CR and had any problems? Thanks.

edit: k24 long block with K20Z1 or 3 head.

That All Depends On The Cam And The Valve Pocket Depth
But If It Is A Shelf Stock Wiseco Stage 2 Cams Are The Most I Recomend Well Not Really Ive Done Skunk2 Stage 3 With Those But Never Past 27*on Cam Advance .watch The Knock Sensor As It Senses Knock When P2v Gets Closer. But You Should Be Fine With Most Stage 2 Cams.

Hmm, yea I wasn't going to get anything past stage 2. Probably stage 1. Might be spraying too.

I got this info from wiseco regarding 89mm 13.7 CR pistons

The intake pocket diameter is 1.550 and depth is .235 deep from timing edge.

The exhaust pocket diameter is 1.350 and the depth is .170 deep from the timing edge.

With the amount of material under the valve pockets .030 could safely be removed.
I wonder if I get the pockets .030 deeper - if I could run the k10's :silly:
