thanks in advance i did a search and could not find my local honda dealer had 3 dif. part #s when i went to order today. got my motor on the way and live in Fl so i definitely need to keep ac in my 97 hatch any help greatly appreciated

Why is it necessary to use the EP3 Pulleys???

because the ep3 doesnt have power steering so if you remove p/s and a/c using the idle pulley basically gives you a pulley to replace the p/s so you can still use the belt tightening system, which is another pulley right above the alternator that has a built in big spring to compress the belt.

btw required belt size if you have no a/c and using ep3 pulley is 50.5" i think you can use 51" also if you can find it cuz the .5 is a tad tight.
