need to know how the two small washer go that are located at bottom of mainshaft between the mainshaft and the bearing thats in the bellhousing. i put my trans back together couple days ago and thought i keep them in order when i was cleaning everything. after reinstall everything shifts by hand very smooth and all seems well. then yesterday when i was trying to clean up my work bench and semi put my h22 trans together/pack in a box until i can get a bearing kit for it i noticed thos same two washers were opposite of the way in installed them in the k tranny. there is two washers, one is little bigger than the other, big one is flat and small has concave to it. i installed them with larger one on mainshaft side and smaller one up against the bearing. when i looked at the h22 mainshaft they had the smaller concave up against the mainshaft and large flat would have been resting on bearing. its very possible that washers on the h22 were also mixed up as that trans has been apart for long time, pulled open and semi put back together so internals don't rust a few times. basically really unsure if they are on correctly or not and would rather fix not instead of running trannt and having such a small thing cause major prolems. if anyone can shed some light on the way those washers go and if it would do damage if installed backwards. can get a pic if need to actually see parts i am talking about. thx
