Purge valve - it goes to the canister. The plastic fitting on the end has a habit of breaking off easily. The ECU opens it under certain running conditions to suck gas vapor from the charcol canister into the engine. It is not vital for the operation of the engine, but it does no harm so I always leave the purge valve alone. If it is disconnected then eventually you get a check engine light (but not always for some reason).

you can just take it off and cap the throttle body. Which frees up those black rails from on the cylinder head. take that off too while your at it. http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2484
