you should turn the axels around and hit the outer's evenly. ALso, it's going to take awhile if you do not have the axels clamp down with the table vise grip.
OK... whos actually done the OEM axle combos?
I tried separating the outers with absolutely no luck! the lip actually dented quite a bit from hitting it so hard repeatedly...
anyone have any tips, or did anyone else have any problems? right now i feel like i was doing something wrong, i must have hit it as hard as i could with a sledge about 15-20 times
