recently i have been having a problem with oil getting on my intake manifold. A puddle of oil keeps forming and i clean it up and a few days later its back again.

The arrow is pointing to where the puddle forms on the manifold under the fuel rail, the other yellow cirlce just shows other places where the oil runs/stains on the manifold under the fuel rail.

Anybody got any ideas what would cause this or why it would happen. Its not a lot of oil in the puddles, about a shot glass worth, maybe a little less. But it shouldnt be there.

Have you checked the valve cover gasket?

^^+1 and checked ur fuel rail fittings at the end ?

nope, is it possible its cracked or no good? If i have time today, ill take off the valve cover and see if its the gasket.

fuel rail fittings are good, i checked those.

Yeah the only oil sources there would be oil cap, VC gasket or VC grommets?

ok, its not the oil cap, because there is no oil running down from it. So its got to be the gasket or grommets. Most likely the gasket though.
