k24a4 uses 50 degree vtci did sum reading on the k20 cam gear and its a 50 degree cam gear just curious if it would provide any benifits on a k24a4 no k20 head or even work without breaking anything

should I start with K20a2 type S with ITR cam map or ITR map with headers and exhaust and intake

sounds like a wiring issuei have a question i just swaped a stock k20a3 06 into my base model 02 rsx. i have a problem it doesnt rev past 3k rpm what could it be its missing the intake on the intake
yesare all k series pans a universal fit on the blocks? such as an a3 pan on a z3 block
hif i have 3" intake piping and 3" couplers...
Would i buy these?
or get 3.5" tclamps?.....
The reason i ask is because i bought 2.5" clamps for 2.5 piping awhile back and they wouldnt fit the clamp ran out of threads
Seriously? Now that I think about it it cant be. HOW would the Low C/R k24's even benefit from 50deg VTC? Wouldn't that be overkill for the wimpy 2 lobe cams and power compression goals?in-correct the k24a2 use a 25 deg vtc gear, ALL other k24's use a 50 deg vtc gear

HERES MY BRAIN ON VTC.
The heads on K24'S(WITH THE EXCEPTION OF K24A2) are not as thermally efficient as the K20a2 or K24a2 which are basically the same head. Which is why we proceed with the Frank K24block/k20a2 head swap. FOR 3LOBE CAM/and 50deg VTC.The difference between the K20a2 is the 50deg VTC and the K24a2 25deg VTC...
also note-I assume that if the K24a2 has 25 VTC then the other K24's def have 25 deg VTC...There would have to be fundamental differences for the other K24's to utilize 50deg VTC...
HOW 50 DEG VTC helps!-The Addition of 50 deg of cam timing tunability will allow tuners more flexibility and the ability to fine tune cam angles convieniently through KPRO. This helps achieve broader powerbands through better cam angles and calibrations.
In the same breath VTC can also be a tool for disaster. For K24's 50 deg VTC and you risk V2P contact. As the the 50 degrees during certain engine speeds, and parameters can cause catastrophic valve piston party...Even if you electronically limit it in KPRO. Mechanically it can still breach the given parameters. Machining the K24a2 VTC to 45deg is the answer though...About the other K24 vtc's I don't know for sure
