it looks hideous, i think thats how you spell it. Looks even more like a mini-van, they should calm down on the steriods for the civic. What ever happened to the plain, nice and simple lines of the 92-2000 era...BUT it does have a 2.4 in it :twisted:

it will never come here anyway. with that much of a change. they barley sell the EPs. they will only sell like two of them. if they do bring them here, in the first year expect a mark down from the supposed 25k to prolly something like 13-14k just to get them off of the lots.

well i can accept it will never look the same but why do car companies have to change cars so drastically from year to year. the accord has drastically changed in looks but slowly so it kinda got us used to it u know. going from a sick ass EK9 CTR to this is weird.....i guess im talking weird but nm :x

Also beleive that the tuner and enthusiast is not in mind when these companies design their cars; 16 year old kids with dady's money and old people trying to feel young are. Is it me or do others see this to? Another thing, the SI civic looked like an Odyssey when the spy shots came out.

Hey, not every 16 year old has daddy's money to spend, i wish i did. lol. But the pics above do look better than that 5 door peice of shit. It looks to be more aggresive than the Ep3 while still retaining its nice and simple lines. too many car companies are trying to make race ready cars from stock that have no class or substance. Just simple boy racer cars. hopefully honda doesnt release that 5 door crap.

well its not a normal civic. its a TYPE ARRRGHH! plus the rsx has the ITR in japan if it ever comes here. although that is a k20a in it while the ctr would have a k24? hmmm maybe the itr will be beefed up in time also. honda is going in the right direction i think with their motors and all. they are putting down some real good power for being 4 cyl. NA motors.

That first image from the "mag" is a really bad photoshop. The other images are from the current SI. They look the same to me.

I don't see a 250 HP K24A coming from Honda, but it's probably possible. That's one amazing engine.

i really think Honda/Acura needs to go back to the drawing boards...the civic doesnt even look like a civic anymore...however the rsx looks fine to me but it also could use a little work to it and when the new line up of civics came out i was "speechless"...i think we need to send them a letter and let them know that the body design doesnt look good anymore...they need to keep it away from the focus & matrix style...ALso i hope they dont realease that 5 door civic...i hope not...

I do like the 4-door hatch style. I've seen some "5th Gear" vids of the new GTI and europe gets a 4 door. I just think it's more sleeper-esque, plus it just makes more sense.
