Can somebody tell me how they adjusted their adjustable shiftercables. When im standing still it was not going fully in second gear so when i lose clutch it just grind the gear. i adjusted the cable a bit made it more shorter so turned it in now it goes in second but i still have a feeling that it can be better. Did u guys turned the cable which change gear fully in or half? The gearbox is good.

Cant also find this info on the internet.

Thanks in advance

I would start by measuring the center to center of the old cable. Eyelet to eyelet then go from there? This is a "buddy system" situation. Manualy click it through a gear then adjust it until the action is proper. How are your bushings in the shifter box and all around? Bleed the system, I had a grind going into 3rd and a simple bleeding made everything right with the world. Hope this works for you.

You and me both? As fate would have it I have A k-tuned shifter and new adjustable cables (knock offs). I think It's important to make sure it's spot on. Not so sure there's a procedure to it? I have a vested interest in how this goes for you. You would need to make sure it feels "right". I would start with the engine off, then rap it out and see how it responds. I was using a saw one time and my buddy said "let the tool do the work?" This holds true. Don't fight with it, let it do it's own thing as to what makes it happy? There are set nuts on them but that would be the least of my concern as to once there proper fittament is obtained there not going anywear?
If there's anything that looks at you funny, replace that too. I really need to start looking at the women in my life? This s**t almost is a universal application?
