i got a ukdm ctr k20a2 engine. unfortunately, the engine is narrow band, now can i get the sensors off the dc5r k20a and plug it in, or is there more involved than that. if so, can someone point me in the right direction. thanks

I would use the ECU and sensors from a Type S.

I think i may know where one is.

You can email me at [email protected] if you have any questions about the swap.

Thanks,

If your ECU wants to see the wide band then yes. Are you looking to use a K-pro or something?

yes i am planning on getting the k pro. does it matter which ecu i have at the mo, ie pra, prb, prc. when i upgrade to the k pro. i've got a pra at the mo. would there be any performance increase because the ecu can see wideband with and without the k pro?
another reason why i want to do this is because the engine i bought for the swap didnt come witht the cat section of the header, so im missing all the sensors. but i can get my hands on the dc5 (wideband) sensors. would like to know what i would need to make these sensors work on a narrow band ecu
I don't know enough about the wide band and narrow band to make that call. Email the people a Hondata for that information.

Things to note here are:

1) US and JDM ECU's use the semi wide band Primary O2
2) Non US/JDM engines do not have the wires in the engine loom to support these Semi-wide O2's

so, if you put a US/JDM ECU on an EU spec engine, it will not work with the O2 even if you have the right sensor.
