The Hybrid-Racing short shifter has many features that are better.

-No more shifter base bushings
-Adjustable throw reduction
-Adjustable height
-Cheaper
-Hybrid-Racing's quality
-Hybrid-Racing's legendary customer service

From TWM's website, it looks like you can't adjust the shifter at all. It's their settings. I prefer being able to adjust my shifter the way I want it to be. One factor was being able to adjust the shifter's height. I wanted to keep the OEM height, but reduce throw. It's also a lot stiffer. With the HR cables, you really get the same feeling as a RWD car where the shifter is bolted directly into the transmission. It's the best shifter feeling ever.

Did you get your 5.062 fd installed i'm about to do that same mod along with some other related improvements. did it make a noticeable difference.

Never installed it. I put it in my friend's transmission when I did a rebuild. I'll buy a new one for myself.

The difference is noticeable. I've tried it in 2 8thgens. One with a k20 bolt-ons and one with a k24a2 bolt-ons.

It's a very good upgrade. Feels like your 8thgen is 400 lbs lighter lol .. You get the feeling of driving a k-swapped EG.

Got something new today. Nothing crazy, but it makes my CTR valve cover look better than the OEM plastic thing.
