I was at Import face off in Montgomery Alabama and it is my first time ever driving on a 1/4 mile track. It didn't hook as well as the 1/8 mile track that we have here in Mobile, AL but I've manage to get a decent time.

98 Ek Cx. 07 k24a2, 50vtc, Rbc, Rdx 410cc, Hondata Img, Cai with velocity, 4.7 final, No lsd, Rcrew header, custom 3" exhaust, strip interior with driver seat only and laptop. Kpro tune 225whp 160lb tq. 225/50/15 bfg drag radials. I launch at 5000rpm. 2nd gear burn out but it still spin in first so i shift up at 6000rpm into second gear. I ran pretty consistant all day.

R/T .321
60ft 2.183
330 5.63
1/8 8.39 89.6 mph
1000 10.78
1/4 12.82 111.13 mph

I usually cut 2.0 60ft at the 1/8 mile track. I am hoping to come back with
24" slicks and see if I can get some better times. Overall I am happy to run 12without slicks and that mean I can get much better times with slicks.

Thanks, I didn't think that I was going to be in the 12s with Bfg but the car has decent power and I didn't screw up so I am very happy with the results.

I guess with the car fully strip and I weight about 125lbs total with driver around 2300lbs.

24" slicks may be a little big for that kind of power. I was making around that much power and have ran with 24.5x8.5 and was bogging a little off the line with a 1.86 60ft and launching at 7600rpm. Finally got some 23x7.5 M&H's and pulled a 1.70 60ft. Make sure you have some 2.9 axles or something stronger than base axles too before you run on slicks. Hope this helps.

Hey,

Curious as to what you were shifting at? Also, I have the same swap and was wondering what the clearance was like for the 50 VTC?...I wanted to put one on my motor but was told that it wasn't going to clear the piston valve pockets. When you dyno'd at 225whp on Dynojet or Dynapack and @ what rpms? Sorry about all the questions...My brother also has the 06 TSX swap and we took it out to the track and couldn't go any faster than 13.6 on 22x8x13 slicks...He has a type R tranny on it too....finishing the 1/4 mile in 5th gear @ 5.5-5.7k rpms..

Church's dyno does read high. Might be the reason why his traps are low that being said that might be why he can't get anything better then 13.7. Update the vtc and see how it runs.

60ft was 1.8x-1.9x...I know Church's dyno reads a little higher like 8-10 percent but still...it's been tuned...I think the slicks were too small for the 4.7FD and power output...not letting the torque and FD do the work. The slicks were run @ 7psi....Now that I know the 50 VTC is going to work...I'm going to swap out the IM and VTC and run a RBC and see where how that goes.

My numbers was on a Awd Mustang Dyno which I am not sure if it reads higher or lower compared to a Dyna-pack.
