My K24a2...

So i just recieved my motor and I had a few questions. I noticed that it is missing a few things. I didn't have time to really sit down and check it out, but I did snap a few pictures. So maybe you guys can help me out a little.
Just post up anything that you can notice is missing...

Also in this first picture can anyone tell me what type of tranny may have been attached to this motor? (Auto or manual)

I know I didn't get my P/S pump which I was hoping for, but it seems that both wiring harness are there... I also was hoping to get the other section of the exhaust mani so i could run the OEM setup for a little while, so i can save for a nice header...

why do people tap or weld the coolant port anyway...why not just leave it open...or better yet plug it...cant the engine operate fine with it open....?

if you leave it open, coolant will just flow right out of the block and say bye-bye to your engine. new information has been found that you cannot plug the hole or weld it shut. the coolant flowing out of the head helps heat up the thermostat so it can open. people now are tap it so they can fabricate a hose connection to allow the fliud to flow back down to the thermostat. i just said the hell with that crap and am usning a type-s A2 head. much easier to work with. and i got it for free. good luck
I also said the hell with it and just used the stock TSX IM. Should be better for torque that was as well.

Nope not really...

Just waiting for things to start showing up. I got my Type-S harness the other day so I am working on getting that all hooked up and the neccesary things wired in. I think I am going to see if a local guy can just rewire my TSX charge harness and maybe save me a few bucks, I'll just have him do that and the add ins like the crank sensor. He owns a shop and lives down the street from me, so hopefully he will hook me up. Since I really hate wiring  ...

Other than that I have Cody at Lovefab workin on my header, Hybrid still has my tranny and is workin on the mounts. I got a set of RSX-s cams the other day and I am just waiting to pick up some springs and retainers. Next thing on the list of things to buy is my clutch and flywheel, that way I can put the motor/tranny in the car when the tranny shows up.

Then I will just pretty much need some fuel stuff, clutch line, and get my ECU Kpro'd and I'll be good to go...

I think

maybe an LSD in there somewhere

Yea I am pretty much still in the gathering and buying parts phase. I'm kinda glad that a few of the other guys got there setups running first because it gives me an opportunity to see some of the problems or issues they are running into and hopefully I can avoid most of them...

I gotta give it up to everyone around here for being pioneers in one way or another.

Correct, It slides under the intake manifold into the tranny. Looks like this motor came out of an Automatic. You are going to need a flywheel and intermidate shaft as well.

Looks clean how many miles?
So looking back at this I see you guys mentioned I would need a new intermediate shaft? So I assume the manual setup needs a different shaft than the auto?

Things are coming together slowly...

I should have some pictures of my header soon :)
Which one did you get again?
