I have a set of DSS level 2.9 axels for my K20 swap in a 95 civic coupe, and it seems like the driver side axel is starting to make that annoying clicking noise when I make turns. I know they have a one year warrenty, is that a year after being installed or purchased?
exact same thing with me. noticed the CV clicking yesterday(2.9s on EP3). its about 3 weeks past the 1year warranty but have been on the car a little less than a year. what pieces of shit. you would think for $800 you would get a good quality product.
I had the same problem with mine, as long as you can get over the clicking sound they held up great at the track. Just turn up your volume to your music. Of course when you pay that much we wouldnt think this would happen. As long as they dont break for me im happy. It is annoying though.
Thanks for the info last poster. I will definitely check into that. And I am not so worried about the clicking sound I just don't want them breaking on me....
That would be good, since I got them through you guys at hybrid racing as well. Does that clicking have to be under the one year... because its been over a year since they were purchased and under a year since installation.
Alright I will get on that here soon, I need to do some suspension work so maybe when I get to that I will take out the axel and get that fixed. Thanks!
