The infamous Karcepts Shifter Mounting Kits are finally available for the 88-91 Civic/CRX chassis. Like our original KSM01 kit, these EF kits offer the SOLUTION to mounting an RSX/RSX-S style shifter box into your K-series powered EF while maintaining all factory interior trim (center console & cup holders).

· High quality laser cut stainless steel construction (for minimal exhaust heat transfer)
· Provides a seal between shifter and outside elements
· Eliminates cutting into firewall for shifter cable routing
· Detailed instructions for smooth installation
· Rigid mounting base for more positive shifting feel (eliminates shifter box bushings)
· Applicable for K-powered, RSX or EP3 tranny equipped 88-91 Civics and CRX's
· 02-04 RSX cables recommended (05+ cables require some modifications)
· Use Karcepts Part #: KSM02 for 88-91 Civic/CRX 3 Door Chassis
· Use Karcepts Part #: KSM03 for 88-91 Civic 4 Door Chassis

In stock and ready to ship! NEW Price is $125 shipped anywhere domestically within the US!

Add a Buddy Club DC5 incrementally adjusting short throw shifter box for just $90 extra when you purchase together.

hey i am building a k20 da, i will this kit work on my car ????
The EF and DA tunnels are a bit different, so it is not a direct bolt-on. If you are fine with having to modify the EF Shifter Mounting Kit main plate, then you can get it to work. You would need a grinder (4.5" preferred) with a flap disk with grit level of around 40-60 to shave down the stainless steel plate where it interferes. Before installing the shifter box or cutting out the tunnel, you would just want to first attach the rear plate of the kit to the chassis, and then you can hold the main plate up to where it attaches and easily see the area's of interference you will have to relieve in order to make fit. So basically, get our kit to first fit the chassis, and once that is a success you may cut the tunnel and install the shifter box and it will work.
