ok so i just found out i am getting the 2006 k24a8 for my si...and i have looked everywere for some specs found bits and pieces here and their but i also realized that it doesnt have the daul tec setup witch the tsx and type r an s have...i mean im satsfied with the motor i was just wundering if antone good give me any good pointers to deliver more h.p and trq without a big bang for the buck..My buddy tells me the tsx head will bolt right up but idk if i belive that cause of clearance issues and what not??? any help would be app thanks

you cant bolt up a head due to te design of the pistons(they have little humps on top of the pistons) you will have clearance issues. k24a8 is from a 07-08 accord.
I had it in my EG with rcrew header,rbc,type s TB, and 6 speed and that motor scooted!! the torque was nice for daily driving. this motor with a turbo kit, and its game over!!!!!

You can do a head swap, but you will need to change the pistons to the TSX pistons as well. TSX head with TSX pistons and you will be just fine. I suggest you do some reading as well man. Get some more info. I don't think you will be to satisfied with that k24a8 head. It would be horrible if you spend the money to do the swap and don't get the results and enjoyment you are looking for.
