i new to the k series. and i was wonder what would be the best thing to do, i have a k24 block and a k20a2 head... im looken to break 500 hp, nd willing to dump 8 grand into this project.. i was looken to supercharge maybe turbo. looked into jakson racing procharger, or the supercharger that runs likea turbo.. also should i just get bluprint everything from hybridracing?

i also herd that a k20 oilpump and oil pan is better to use becuase the k20 oil pump pumps more oil? is this true.

Re: k24a4 bottem k20a2 head. build

Hi, you need to learn alot before doing that build, so read as much as you can here at this forum, and btw here is a some nice threads to start with:

If youre going for 500hp you need a turbo or a Kraftwerks kit. And for the oilpump its because to get rid og the dual balanceshafts that everyone change to the k20 oilpump.

Good luck on the build!

I would not have hybrid "blue print" anything. They are pretty good at fabricating mounts and swap parts but I truely do not believe that they have the facilities nor the ability properly build a motor.

If you are actually looking to build a motor I would suggest that you look into ERL or if you really want something extreme, then look into Endyne. I am currently looking at having Larry at Endyne build me a custom K20z1 for my turbo setup.

If you want 500whp you are going to have to have a built motor and a good turbo setup. This is a 4banger, a supercharger isn't the best option if you are looking for that kinda power. I suggest a good kit like Peakboost, Full-race or AFI, a simple built k24 frank (piston, rods, blue print & balance), a GT35 turbo and a fist full of cash.

He is referring to the company blueprint not actually having us blueprint his engine and we are more than capable of building his engine (we have 5 in the shop now) and just picked up a DYNO about a month ago for testing.

I had no idea that you guys had upgraded your facilities.
