I figure a couple of you would like to see this..

premium 5 speed!!!!!
Stock internal TSX engine (no type-R cams)
Comptech RACE header (with custom motor mounts)
2.5 exaust with Greddy muffler (bolted)
shortram intake with K&N filter (mounted)
overbored TB
Hondata IMG gasket
STOCK Type-S manifold (not gasket matched) <-- last minute
K-Pro (partial tune)

Conservative timing, 90 octane mixed regular and premium...
VTC - confidential but very mild
AF reading tuned per RPM.. (changes for best result)

3 baserun passes, 6 passes for changes, one last pass with cam angle change. only had 1 hour, had appointment something to study mostly.

non vtec map not changed, HUGE POWER TO BE FOUND! look at the flatline (VERY BAD!!)

7400rpm is not enough, this motor could see 8000++ and torque doesn't fall as fast as Brian's motor.. "possibly due to header???"

better IM (ITR) and a CAI with better tunning could be a 230whp engine without touching internals!

he is running a TSX block (k24a2) which has a better crank (probably stronger rods too) & much higher compression than k24a1 & k24a4 (CRV, Accord/Element motors)

yes torque of 181 with a possibility of more  thats the shit

EDIT sorry for the typo - i meant k24a2 not k20a2 :?

the US accords have k24a4...

the tsx R. in japan have k20a
technically no such thing as tsx r :p(they are called accord except for in the US, where they are TSX. also, the usdm accord is the only one of its kind. no other country has our accord)

don't be scared to rev it out boys... power doesn't fall off... the cam angle is still indexed at almost (center of camshaft) wheres as it was -6 from the previous line.... 2 degree's of intake timing climbed it 4whp and 6tq and when i upped the cam timing it instantly shot up...

AF is solid now i need to get more timing and better fuel, i'm certain the low speed cam once tuned will give also some remarkable numbers...

my engine code is a k24a2 2004 TSX :) not a k20a2 head....

Once i get more information i'll try to remember to post here :)

first off thats a lie. japan has our acord as the inspire just not the coupe version.
now to the k24
the k24 is basicly a bored and stroked k20a that bigger displacement makes that tq super high for a honda, but the compression is lowered and thw stroke isn't that much different form the type-r which is why it can rev so high. which just gave me an idea.
imagine a k20a-r block bored to a k24 but not stroked with high compression pistons and a k20r head with more agressive or even stock cams.that alone with give you at leat 230hp and 150+ tq to the flywheel.

^^^hahahahahahaha
the k24 is not a bored and stroked k20. It is a different engine with a taller deck height and longer, 99mm stroke. The k24 has a 87mm bore and the k20 has an 86mm bore.. Also a k20 CANNOT be bored to a 2.4L because there is just not enough sleeve there.

Thats very possible...Skunk2 car revs at 10,000 all day with a stock K24 crank...

In our K20 type motor saw 9923Rpm or sometime 10,000rpm all the..

The motor is stock...With ITb's and Our race Headers...

What kills if it not done right? It's all comes down in tuning..
