Those of you who are doing the TSX swap and are using the Type-S manifold, where do you take the motor to get the coolant port welded shut? Would a machine shop do it or who? I just don't really know where to get that done.

look in your yellow pages, for welding / facrication shop, call and ask them if they can do aluminum.

I think the euro R mani will bolt up without having to weld the coolant port. I will have mine in a very soon and I will post pics so we all know for sure.

thats true but the rsx tb will not bolt up to the euro r IM. so you still have to buy an adapter plate. dude from hondawerx said he had one that he could make for $150. to me thats too much. the euro r IM isn't gonna help performance for the tsx anyways. doesn't it make most of its power higher up in the rpm range? to me the best choice is to get the rsx s IM and TB and weld the port.

Yes, there are. The PRC manifold (type r) is better. I think the TBs are pretty equal on the type s and the type r.

any idea of a good place to find one for a decent price. or know of anyone selling one? i know on car-part.com you can find the type s mani for a decent price, if i cant find the type r do you know a better place to find a type s?

NIKOS what is the deal with the type R and Euro R manifolds. will they be worth the difference in price if used with the stock tsx engine. i ask this b/c tsx engine doesn't rev as high as type s or Euro R. to me 100-300 dollar difference isn't worth it if it doesn't even make power for tsx engine.
