The SeekSpeed guys made a potpourri transmission by using a couple EP3 low gears and TSX sixth in a RSX-S 6 spd transmission.

The best way to go is probably a hybrid of these three transmissions to optimize gearing for the K24a2 (especially in first and second gear).

i have k24 ep3 with a 6 speed but here is a clip of a guy with the same setup as me with a 5 speed tranny

Looks like 2nd gear tops out at 62mph or thereabouts?
My local autox's top out around 62mph, since engine swap pushes me into a class where the EP3 will not really be competitive, I think that a k24a2 with the regular ep3 5-speed + TSX 6th gear would work better (for me).

random question guys: i have a 6 speed 04 tsx and im noticing now that it doesnt seem to shift into second right away when it gets up into high rpms. any thoughts on what could be wrong?

there is a delay /dampener plate on the master cylinder. Just swap out for an em1 civic one or any late model Honda. It is called a ''feedback plate'', but it is just a bitch on your synchronizers and a failure point as well. I have an 06 6spd TSX as well

You can use either the 5 or 6 speed k20 trans

as everyone already said 5-speed transmission bolts up fine.

I'm running my EP3 trans with a K24a2. You feel like you don't need the 6-speed when you drive it for the first week.

Then you're like "shit, I need a 6-speed..."

what axles & half shaft are you using?
