Can anyone verify thats the sensors are actually different? To my nknowledge the sesnors are the same except for the plug so If I just switch the plug on my frank swap it will work ok. Anyone have any supporting evidence that disproves this?

yes just switch plug, plenty of ppl using the k24 knock sensor on their k24 swap.

The sensors are different, best to just use whatever sensor fits your harness, depends on which harness your using.

I have a 02-04 harness but the damn dogs chewed it up. I'm putting this in my toyota, I don't have the k20 sensor but I have a k24 sensor and k24 harness so I was just going to switch the plugs and put the k24 plug on my 02-04 rsx harness

I am using a k24a4 sensor on my setup you just need to change the plug.
