ok.. here it goes...

Ive got a k24 from a CRV.. the timing chain slipped about 15 teeth...

the big question is, is a k24 an interference or non-interference motor? The swap did still run after the timing chain slipped but VERY poorly...

do i have fail sauce valves/pistons or can i put this bad girl back in time and have a running swap?

you can try and put a new chain and tensioner on it.

but you may have valve damage and piston damage...

knowing weather its an interference or non-interference motor will answer the question about valve/piston damage...

i just dont want to buy a new chain and tensioner if there is alot of internal damage...

it's an interference motor!

interference pistons and valves will meet!

non interference you can turn crank 360 without hitting valves w/o chain on
