Hey Im new here I just signed up not long ago and i read a lot bout the k series engins but Im still confused. If anyone has any coments, suggestions pls let me know cuz pretty much anything could help now

i got this deal on a k24 engin.
K24a1 from crv. engin, tranny & ecu.
1000$
Is it a good deal? Im in Canada btw so thats CND $. What else will be missing to be able to install it into my 2001 LX civic and how much xtra is it gonna cost me

www.theksource.com, read up about the different k series engines. The only part of the crv engine i would use is the block.

Other than that for that car you don't need much, its pretty straight forward, mounts wire harness from a type s and a type s ecu. Someone else can fill in the rest.

But what should I do with the rest of the engin if i only use the block? cuz im still a student so of course i want speed cuz we all love that but $$$ part time job

you cannot use the tranny and the crv would need to get k proed.
Don;t do it man unless you have at least 5-6000 US $$$

he also has a k20a2 for 3200$

2003, - de 30000km, full engin, wiring, ecu, shift linkage, shifter box. which one is the best .. and how come for the k24 itll go to 6000 just to swap the engin?

I heard 2001 civic stock engins respond well to turbos..
