The K20A4 shares the eco-technology of the K20A3 and K20A1.
K20A1, K20A3 and K20A4:
VTEC is used for 12 valve use below a certain engine speed (2200 rpm) to increase the turbulent kinetic energy by using only 1 intake valve per cylinder in that speed window. It also has a plastic intake manifold, which has a dual runner setup, switched by an valve at around 4400 rpm. So beside some differences in hard- and software there also some harness differences (TB position, additional harness for IM, gearbox shifter indicator harness, ...).
I am not sure if the idea is good to swap the K20A4 harness on your K20A2 harness. The modification maybe need an further invest and time which may compensate the price advantage. May find a more definite source to that to this here.
Looking around and talking with Brian from Hasport, the UKDM k20a4 is very similar to the USDM k20a3 but use the plastic Accord intake manifold, It's possible to use It on the k20a2 buy You Need to repin the crank and TPS sensor and probably extend some wire.
