What brand head gasket and head studs did you have? I will also have a T3.T4 i will be using.

You can use either ARP or golden eagle and I used a 9.1 cometic gasket.

Alright i was on the right track about the cometic gasket. Do you know a web site where i can get the head studs? I looked but can only find d and b series mostly.

i'm rockin the a3 motor boosted they do make rods for it but they cost about $711. :wow: i'm using the the greddy kit for now at 7psi i produced 200 hp and 198 lbs of torque at a some dyno at the track....the max lb i took my a3 was 22lb it was suicide my pass it held up untill third gear and the intercooler pipes blew off when i pop the hood i saw the hoses for the wastegate and boost controller were all pop off i ran a strong 14.5 at 113.5 mph

Try importcarpartsplus.com, Justin has great deals and I got my ARP head studs their and when I had my A3 I also got my cometic 9.1 gasket through him.
By the way I installed head studs and that 9.1 gasket and threw down 300 @ the wheels and ran a 12.6 on slicks w/ type-r lsd and DDS level-3 shafts.

I have k20a3 with autotranny, can I supercharge or turboboost it?
I heard that boosting an autotranny isn't recommended.. why?
