everything except the hasport motor mounts ,hasport headers .and the aem feul rail , oh yeah and the hondata ecu , lol supafly do you remember me from s.c im the guy that called you about the swap about 2 weeks ago . you expained the whole swap to me like in a hour . lol

Of course I remember.

I was just wondering about importautosalvage swaps. What the consist of.

Ive dealt with them in the past. Radiator, skunk2 extended studs, skunk 2 lugs came from them.

I found that you also need to get the IAT sensor.

Air temp sensor that goes into the stock airbox. they are 30 at the dealer list price and cost is like 25.

I just wanna make sure when ppl get their swaps that it is literally everything vs. like a b series just motor trans ecu axles and harness. Ppl need a little more with this one.

yea they do because it wont run with out the proper sensors. but i got everything and they said that if i missing that they garauntee that they will get it to me. i got it in writting.lol

Hey, i just did a k20a2 swap into my 02 civic, im having a problem though. For some reason every while i find ashes of rubber around the power steering area and it keeps getting into my alternator and messes it up. I dont have an a/c compressor, so im running a belt i bought from a store. Does anyone know why it would do that? Could it be because of the belt?

I'll keep a lookout for some K20 swapped rides out there.. I'll be going to HIN out there with some of my friends who own a bodyshop.. we're leaving tomm and staying out at the Marriot... we're going to be bringing a widebody lambo door accord and a widebody lambo door pink prelude.. the wide supra, wide 350z probably wont make it out there in time..and my car defintely isnt going no where for another month lol.. see ya there.. hopefully take in the sights of some beautiful women, cars, and get lit up at the club lol.. later.

Havent had any probs like that with my A2 swap in my 03 Si. The only prob I have is my A2 exhaust manifold (header) rubbing on my sway bar.

As for "Crate" K20A engines, there are only a few, Mugen and Spoon both sell them and the longblock runs around $8,000.00 - $10,000.00 Canadian. The idea and concept of a crate motor is an already built brand new engine from the factory or another supplier. For example, the Spoon and Mugen versions are engine bought directly from Honda Japan, then they are disassembled, balanced, blueprinted, and reassembled to factory spec. This provides a "perfect" engine that will put out more power than the factory engine.

Now from reading posts, most people are getting engines from a wreck, like I did for my A2. This is alot cheaper, and alot easier to get a hold of. From my experience, a complete swap should run anywhere in the $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 US range.

im getting my k20a2 complete with tranny, shifter linkage, engine loom, and ecu for £900-$1600. bargain eh?????!!!!
i noe this aint the right place to be asking but does anyone know what to do about the engine immob? does it come on the engine side of the loom or the dash side of the loom? and how to by pass it?
