whats up I'm going to pick up a k20a2 swap tomorrow. it came out of a wrecked type s. I was just wondering if you guys could give me any info on how to tell if it's really a a2 motor. thanks for all the help.

It should say k20a2 stamped on the side of the motor, the intake manifold is silver like (not black), and make sure the oil pan is aluminum (silver) not steel (black). Those are the most noticable differences between the a2 and the a3.

it came with motor, tranny, ecu, axles, radiator, headers, intake manny, pretty much everything but the shifter cables and shifter box. I cant wait to get everything else and drop it into my ek.

good job dude dont forget the shims that hold the cables still on the tranny..."square brackets" along with the spacers and cotter pins to put the cables on the tranny...congrats on the great find...good deal
