OK, I finally have my k20a2 and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for putting it into a 1997 si AUTOMAIC (CDN) or what people call an ex. I am planning on getting axles, wiring harness, mounts, headder from hasport. What do I kneed to change it to the 6 speed from the auto? And should I get the stuff from hybrid racing instead? THANKS.

You'll need to do some extra wiring for the auto car. You'll need to disable the ignition lock solenoid that makes is so you can't turn off the key while the car is in gear. You'll also need to get the reverse light wiring from the shifter connector to the sub-harness. Then you'll need to figure out how you want to work the cluch/starter relay. Do you care that the clutch has to be depressed to start, if so then you need to wire the relay into the system.

On the mechanical side, you will need the pedal assemblies from a manual car including the clutch master cylinder and resevoir.

are you having a reg. automatic are you going to have a tiptronic for your auto k20a like the base RSX SS (sequential shift)?

thanks brian, the only tough part I can see is how to work the cluch/starter relay. where do you think i could find some more info on that?
