i got on this site b/c i wanted to swap a k20 into my 02 ex. with everything included, how much should i expect to spend on this swap?
In a 7th gen civic expect to spend close to 8 grand for all parts and labor. Unless you are doing the swap yourself you can save about 1500 in labor.

just from personal experience, don't forget the sensors, the ones in the cat (Primary afr sensor and secondary O2), your car will respond very much quicker, trust me, i love my type-s swap in my 01 civic ex coupe.

it really depends on the deal you get...

I'm going with a k24a1, 6spd tranny, kpro, later i'm putting on a k20a2 head

Could go with a k20a if you can afford it, haven't seen that many awesome deals

Could go with a k20a2 setup

A k24a2 out of a tsx

I ran a lot of numbers and tried to make a budget out of the whole situation. From what I've seen so far, some people change direction with their project because they lose focus on what the original plan was. Different block, or different chassis, or different ......

I guess I would suggest my setup, I like knowing my low end torque monster with the headflow from a a2 cylinder head. Every setup has advantages and disadvantages.
