hi,
i have ep3 civic type r that it has k20a2 and 6 speed tranny. we have installed toda spec A,toda valve springs , reflashed ecu, cai,head work etc. it makes 224whp(sae).
now i find k24a engine block,crank and rods. i want to learn something about
1-is this k24a block fits to my tranny and also is my stock flywheel fits to the k24a crank.
2-which timing belt i have to use ? k24a belt ? becase of 19mm taller block
3- i saw that arias sell a piton kit for k24a with k20a head applicaitons did you prefer it ?
4-which oil and water pumps i must use ? am i use to get k24a oil and water pump or is my stock k20a2 pump are enough to 8000 rpms
totaly my future setup is seem like this
1-k24a engine block
2- k24a con rod
3-arias 11.0:1 pistons
4-k20a2 head with toda spec a and valve springs

any opinions ?

Answers:
1. Yes and Yes.
2. K24A
3. Aria makes nice stuff, Ive got a set coming for my K20.
4. Use the K20 stuff and block off the water passage to the oil cooler.

Your set-up:
1 OK
2 Weak, use TSX at least.
3. OK
4. OK

do you know the compression raito with using stock k24a piston on my setup ?
